EG Art Festival – Check Out these Featured Artists!

22 Aug

CHRISTINA ALMONTE – So Loved 316     EMILY HIRSCH – Althalia Originals

Soap IS art, believe it or not!

These days, soap comes in all sorts of shapes, sizes and chemicals that are made up from all around the world.  The soap and body care line of 316 Traditional Remedies is naturally and beautifully based on what is not found in the ingredients that others use to artificially enhance and entice the senses.

Each product is carefully developed using the highest quality ingredients that include certified organic oils, plant extracts, minerals and clays for color.

Although some smaller batches are made for pure fun, most are based on some traditional remedy that may be beneficial for various ailments or benefit a loved one undergoing cancer treatment, such as fragrant-free, extra moisturizing or simple chemical free, paraben-free products.

Christina’s inspiration for her work derives from her desire to find the cure for cancer.  She has been involved in the study of medicinal plants from around the world – both in the scientific research world of pharmaceuticals to living and working with traditional healers in the Amazon and bush of Papua New Guinea

Visit Christina Almonte of So Loved 316 online today to learn more about not only her wonderful art, but her strides toward finding a cure for cancer. You will also find Christina at the East Greenwich Art Festival on September 1st and 2nd!

Since 2002, Emily Hirsch of Althalia Originals has been creating beautiful handmade, one of a kind jewelry. Since beginning her career in jewelry making, Emily has made over 8,000 unique pieces, utilizing the highest quality sterling silver and semi-precious stones. Emily’s main inspiration behind her work are her parents, and her loyal, devoted customers who often claim they are “addicted to her jewelry”.
