Festival Fete has just added the South County Art Association to the East Greenwich Art Festival! The association currently has over 250 members and new members are always welcome. Currently on display until 8/17 is the 86th Annual Member’s Exhibit with one piece of art chosen from each member. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Closed holidays)
Members of the SCAA run an active and varied exhibition program, open to the public five days a week, in the Helme House galleries. Each new exhibition begins with an opening reception, giving artists and the public a chance to be together and enjoy the show. SCAA offers classes and workshops in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and clay along with several informative lectures on working as a professional artist. There is also studio space available for Pottery, Printmaking, Stone Carving and Painting. Please stop by their booth at the East Greenwich Art Festival to say hello!
