Rock Spot Climbing at the East Greenwich Art Festival

30 Jul

Indoor rock climbing is an amazing experience that is both fun and great exercise. People of all ages, fitness levels, and experience go to the state of the art Rock Spot Climbing gym every day. Many of our guests at Festival Fete‘s Garden City Art Festival took advantage of the opportunity to try rock climbing at the festival that weekend! We are thrilled that Rock Spot Climbing will be at the East Greenwich Art Festival on August 31st and September 1st and that they generously donate a portion of their proceeds from the event to Festival Fete’s non-profit, Art is Smart!

We love working events like this were we can get people excited about climbing, share information about our indoor facilities, and raise money for a great organization at the same time. Our staff had a great time! – Kat Waterhouse

Rock Spot Climbing currently has three locations, Boston, Lincoln and South Kingstown (Peace Dale). Their motto is “All ages, all abilities”, and you’ll see that in every aspect of their business. Rock Spot’s structured youth programs start as young as 4 years old, and they have many dedicated members who climb regularly into their 60’s, 70’s and beyond!

They offer technique classes and advanced skill courses for adults, and family discount times to involve everyone as well as group programs for schools, scouts, team building and birthday parties. I think this sounds like a fabulous group event for my son’s scout troop!

So whether you are an experienced climber or have never done it before, we encourage you to come see Rock Spot Climbing at the East Greenwich Art Festival on August 31st and September 1st and the Wakefield Art Festival on October 5th.
