Liz Carren/Botanical Beauties & Beasties

1 Sep
Botanical Beauties & Beasties began as a multi media project through the love of art/design and flowers. Liz quickly grew into a platform for Art with an Environmental Consciousness with a broad scope. All the Botanicals live in Botaniumus, a community of whimsy and pristine environmental practices. The artwork itself is great fun and a pleasure to create. The message is always one of sustainability, with awareness, education and smiles.

Liz hopes you will be draw into and delighted by the land of Botaniumus, the community that has taken over her heart. Begun as a playful whim this art has captured Liz and begs for more! The creatures all have their own stories; they interact with each other and our world. The stories are all posted on The Botanicals Website  They have formed a magical world of their own and the story of Botaniumus grows. Their bottom line is promoting a Sustainable Earth, which boils down to a clear message of “Sustainable Earth =Be Kind to the The Earth, kind to each other and kind to yourself!” They teach us that lesson with fun, frolic whimsy and glee.

Beasty or beauty is surely in the eye and mind of the beholder! I hope you find them all fun, intriguing, dignified and enchanting.  Each one is an original image and can be found on a variety of creations from prints & to greeting cards to magnets and bookmarks.

Liz grew up in Maryland, and some of her favorite places are pretty much anywhere on an ocean front, The Chesapeake Bay, and right at home with her husband and 2 dogs.
