Matthew Garelick, NOT Your ORDINARY Balloon Artist…

6 Apr

Cats, Birds, Dogs, Penguins, Seahorses…Flying Pigs…Lady Bugs…OCTOPUS?!

If you can imagine it, Matthew Garelick can create it!

Matthew Garelick is a balloon artist living in Dorchester, Massachusetts. He has a background in graphic design, and has dabbled in crafts such as bookbinding and origami for many years. This education in design and craftsmanship, along with a fondness for schmoozing and a love of children, has made balloon art a dream job for Matthew. He founded the Balloon Dog Rescue League in July of 2010, and worked hard since then building a wide repertoire of designs, with a focus on animals — the more unusual the better, such as his favorite octopus, the seahorse, or the flying pig.

Take a look at his website at www.balloondogrescueleague.com, and stop by for an adorable, artisanal balloon creation at the Garden City Center Art Festival on June 11, 2011!
